Concept design for Q2 , a company that provides drop & collect dry-cleaning services in key hubs of major cities via a smart locker systems. The design creates a smart locker system that needs to be distinct and durable in public urban settings.

The design draws ideas from historical laundry technologies and systems, as a means to reinforce the identity of the service through the construction and material of the locker systems.

Black steel forms the carcass of the lockers to ensure durability and ease of maintenance. Whilst door panels references the texture, colour and material quality of historical washing boards, creating a visual identity and tactile experience for the users of a contemporary computerized service.
