A wardrobe on castors hinged to a built-in wardrobe behind, doubling storage space whilst taking up the wall area of one wardrobe in a child’s bedroom. The solution was developed in respond to the practical need of more storage spaces in a child’s bedroom, whilst improving the proportion of a small an linear bedroom.

A white washed birch-ply finish keeps the large unit neutral in the room whilst bringing subtle textures and warmth to the bedroom. The industrial castor and hinge details ensure a smooth swing, the technical details were developed together with Tom Graham Workshop.

The front wardrobe stores daily items and toys, whilst the back layer keeps out of season clothing and items but more importantly offers the perfect hiding spot for a game of hide-and seek.
