Daniel Koo Architects is established by Daniel Koo in London with a design approach that is rigorous and consistent, whilst valuing open collaborations throughout the design process. 

​

The practice believes that architecture is a social and cultural practice, and should help enrich the inhabitant's everyday experiences through the enhancement of the relationship with their surroundings.

Prior to establishing Daniel Koo Architects, Daniel completed his training in 2006 at the Architectural Association in London, followed by over fifteen years of experience in architectural practices in the UK, China and Switzerland. 

 

He has worked both independently and for a number of leading international architectural practices, building up considerable experience in designing and executing high profile public and commercial projects.  Notable projects include the Hepworth Wakefield in West Yorkshire and the Moganshan Office building in Hangzhou by David Chipperfield Architects, as well as the M+ Museum of visual culture in Hong Kong by Herzog & de Meuron and the Gradel Quad for New College, Oxford by David Kohn Architects.
